Yayyyy!!
This morning I got practically the best news of my life (as of now, at least)! I was accepted into the Semester at Sea program! If you are one of those people that haven't heard about me applying for this program and don't know what the hell I'm taking about, here's the deal:
Next spring semester (AKA Spring 2009), I will be sailing the seas and circumnavigate the globe for 100 days. The journey starts in the Bahamas, then goes to Spain, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, India, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, Hawaii, Costa Rica, and then ends up in Miami. The whole time that the ship is at sea, I'll be going to classes and studying and while we are in port, we get to go on adventures and learn about the culture as well as experience anything our hearts desire. Foreach place we visit, we will stay there for 7 to 10 days, depending.
Ahhh! I can't even wait!
